The 1972 Munich Olympic Games caused a sensation when German athletes won the most medals, successfully outperforming their main rival, the team of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The use of Turinabol by German athletes has been so thoroughly documented that it is now considered the best studied steroid. Its properties and mechanisms of action on the body are well known. For example, as a result of meticulous research by German scientists, it has been proven that if an athletic thrower takes this steroid at a dose of 10 milligrams per day for 10 weeks, his results improve by 2 metres! These amazing results have made the drug very popular in the world of elite sports. From 1972 onwards, most of the outstanding athletes of the GDR started using this miracle drug. It gradually spread from athletics to various strength and speed sports.

Thunderstruck in 1990, when this steroid was in the midst of a high-profile doping scandal. It was revealed that Turinabol was one of the substances included in a secret German ‘state research plan’. In the wake of these developments, leading scientists under the protection of the state investigated the limitless potential of the most powerful hormonal steroids. The aim of the experiment was to find a substance that could evade doping tests and remain undetected in the athlete’s body. As it later turned out, most of the athletes who tested the properties of Turinabol were just innocent pawns in someone else’s game.
